Wael El Merhabi

Wael El Merhabi, as the CEO of Sport Clubs Company – Body Masters, is managing one of the leading fitness companies and gym operators in Saudi Arabia, with 40 existing clubs in 18 cities of the Kingdom and another 20 clubs under construction, to be opened within the coming 2 years.

Certified in financial management from the Institute of Management Accountants in the US and holding an M.A. in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University in the UK, El Merhabi has more than 20 years of multi-functional and multi-geographical experience, out of which 10 years in general management positions and 6 years in the fitness industry.

El Merhabi has led to a successful turnaround in Body Masters since he joined back in 2013 and helped growing the business despite many micro and macro challenges. He is now launching a new brand for ladies-only gyms in Saudi Arabia under the name of Body Motions with 14 secured locations, to be opened within the coming 2 years.
