Footwear Brand Brings Traditional Asian Healing to Dubai Active as Post-workout Recovery Exhibitor
Japanese massage footwear specialist Kenkoh, which uses the ancient principles of acupressure to stimulate and soothe the body, is joining Dubai Active as the event’s post-recovery exhibitor. The leading designer of post-workout sandals will play a prominent role at the Middle East’s top fitness and wellness event this October, demonstrating how traditional Asian concepts can facilitate a faster, more efficient recovery after a workout.
Kenkoh’s clinically proven footwear designs, including its dedicated post-workout sliders, feature close to 1000 rubber nodules which flex against the bottom of the feet, creating a natural barefoot experience. This promotes improved blood circulation across the entire foot – rather than in the specific pressure points created by regular footwear – to eliminate excess lactic acid and boost oxygen flow to aid recovery.

Sullivan touches upon the brand’s rich history here, with Founder Mr Yamanashi first translating the classic ideologies of alternative eastern therapies into practical solutions back in 1949.
