Modest activewear shouldn’t feel like a compromise.
Humble Power was created to give women pieces that allow them to train, move and compete without stepping outside their values. Founded by Noor B, a mother of five who understood the gap firsthand, the brand has grown into a community built on confidence, intention and choice. We spoke to her about why Humble Power needed to exist, what “modesty is power” really means, and how Dubai Active has supported the brand’s journey so far.
1. What pushed you to launch Humble Power? Was there a moment where you knew this brand needed to exist for women?
Humble Power was born from a very real need I experienced myself. As a woman who values modesty and an active lifestyle, I constantly struggled to find sportswear that allowed me to move freely without compromising my values. The moment I realized this wasn’t just my struggle, but one shared by so many women across cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs, I knew this brand needed to exist. It wasn’t about fashion alone; it was about giving women choice, confidence, and freedom in how they show up in their bodies.
2. “Modesty is power” is a bold statement. What does it mean to you personally, and how do you bring that message to life through your designs?
To me, modesty is not restriction, it’s intention. It’s choosing how you present yourself on your own terms. That choice is powerful. Through our designs, we bring this philosophy to life by creating pieces that are feminine, functional, and performance-driven, without asking women to compromise. Every detail, from coverage to fabric to fit, is designed to support confidence, not hide it.
3. From sizing to style, you’ve been very intentional in making sure different women feel seen. What drives that inclusive mindset?
Inclusivity isn’t a trend for us, it’s a responsibility. Women come in different shapes, sizes, and journeys, and they all deserve to feel represented and respected. What drives this mindset is listening. Listening to feedback, listening to real needs, and understanding that confidence grows when women feel seen. Designing with inclusivity in mind means thinking beyond one body type or one definition of modesty.
4. As a mother of five and the founder of a growing brand, what’s your message to other women who dream of starting something of their own?
You don’t have to wait for the “perfect time”, it doesn’t exist. Start where you are, with what you have, and trust that growth happens along the way. Being a mother has taught me resilience, adaptability, and purpose, all of which are powerful tools in entrepreneurship. My message is simple: your dreams don’t disappear because life is busy. They become stronger when they’re rooted in purpose.
5. We’re thrilled to have Humble Power back for another exciting edition of Dubai Active! How has being part of the show helped shape the growth of your brand over the years?
Dubai Active has been instrumental in our journey. It’s a space where performance, innovation, and community meet, values that align deeply with Humble Power. Being part of the show has allowed us to connect directly with women, hear their stories, and evolve our designs based on real-life movement and feedback. Each edition has pushed us to grow stronger, clearer, and more confident in our mission.
6. Tell us, what’s next for Noor and Humble Power?
What’s next is growth with intention. We’re expanding our collections, deepening our commitment to inclusivity and ethical production, and continuing to push the boundaries of what modest activewear can be. Personally, I want to keep telling stories, stories of women who move with purpose, confidence, and grace. Humble Power is just getting started.
